L’Hostellerie du Lac Noir, your escape to nature
Located 10 minutes away from the village, this is a place of slow morning walks, watching the sun rise, counting stars and discovering a special part of both yourself and nature’s splendor all over again. We offer great fishing, swimming, hiking, or plenty of reasons to do nothing at all.
Activities you can do while staying with us in the Summer/Fall:
  • Fishing (rowboat included – life vests mandatory but not provided, although a few available here)
  • Swimming (our water is rated A “Excellent”)
  • Canoe, paddle boats, kayaks and boards
  • Playing (badminton, bocce, Frisbee, etc.)
  • Bird and fauna watching
  • Taking naps
  • Hiking
In winter:
  • Ice-skating (skating rink on the lake)
  • Cross-country skiing

  • Tobogganing (sleighs available on site)

  • The beauty of the Upper Laurentians are a must see with the proximity of 2 wildlife reserves
    (Papineau-Labelle and Rouge-Matawin)

  • Golf course (which also offers a fabulous 5km skating path in winter)
The village of Nominingue offers excellent infrastructures such as a wharf, public beach, library (free internet access there), regional paved bike path, a sliding facility, skating rink, hiking, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking trails, tennis court and basketball court provides for a full range of recreational activities.
Every summer the old train station is turned into an exhibition center.
